Huge park, miles of gorgeous trails, tons of wildlife, and peaceful. We stayed in the only big rig friendly, full hookup camp ground in the park which is Palmetto Ridge. Every pull through site is large enough for the longest rig and tow, as are most of the back in sites. The thing to be aware of in the back in sites is that several have very large lowish hanging branches. The back in sites do offer a bit more privacy though.

North-facing lot (approximately 64 ft. wide x ft. deep) with 2 RV hookup spaces. Each space has a 50 amp. electrical pedestal with a meter, but APS only reads the main meter.
This includes lots of electrical appliances and devices. Watts, or overall power, is a product of current, or amps, and voltage. If you want to know how many different electrical devices you can have on at one time in your RV or in your home, for that matter , this formula will tell you. As long as you stay under the amount of available wattage, your circuits will run smoothly. The volt system is powered by an RV electrical hookup plug or a generator, and it powers daily use items like kitchen appliances, your TV, and other electrical appliances.
This can be achieved with a single 12 volt battery or several 12 volt batteries wired together in a parallel circuit. However, using two 6 volt batteries wired together in a series circuit to essentially create a 12 volt battery is typically better than using a single 12 volt battery. The trade-off for using two 6 volt batteries is that two batteries take up more space than one. However, that trade-off may be worth it if your camping needs require that extended battery life. Almost all RVs come with a power cord to plug into the electrical pedestal at a campground campgrounds with available hookups, anyway.

They are weatherproof and entirely self-contained, set up so that one amp connection to the pedestal supplies all the outlets with their correct voltages.
Remove the two screws at the bottom of the dead-front panel and lift it away, then test that all power is off using your voltage meter to bridge from the live side to the neutral side.
For any RV traveler, understanding the RV electrical is a necessity. Remember that it is possible to draw more electricity at once from a power source with a 50 amp hookup than the one rated as 30 amp. RV Power Sources.
